This Vintage solid Sterling Silver Cuff by Navajo Artist Tahe is impressive and substantial. The Tahe family is well known and respected, and there are a handful or more of artists among them. I would say this is a Elaine Tahe piece... it is most representative of her style.
This cuff is often refered to as the "Horse Whisperer" bracelet, as it was the same one that Robert Redford wore in the movie.
It measures 5" on the inside, and the gap is 1", so total of 6" around. My wrist is 6.5" and this fits me perfectly. Because it is so thick, adjusting it is not an option unless you have a jeweler anneal it to soften enough to bend it.
Cuff is in beautiful Vintage condition. I have cleaned and polished it, leaving the natural patina within the thin wire twists.
In the photo that shows the three different sized cuffs, this listing is for the largest one. I will be listing the others soon. These cuffs look fabulous when stacked with others.
It will come wrapped in a gift box and I also include a reusable Silver polishing cloth.
